This Privacy Policy records the manner in which Clisicon Plaza (“we”, “us” or “the Company”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards personal data when you access clisiconplaza.shop or place an order for pest-control goods such as traps, repellents, sprayers and ultrasonic deterrent devices. It is issued in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with the rules framed thereunder.

1. Data Fiduciary

For the purposes of the applicable law, Clisicon Plaza is the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. Our contact particulars are set out in the final section.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect only such data as is necessary for the fulfilment of your order and the operation of the store, namely:

  • identifying particulars, being your name and delivery recipient name;
  • contact particulars, being your postal address, electronic mail address and telephone number;
  • transaction particulars, being the goods ordered, order value and Unified Payments Interface reference or cash-on-delivery record;
  • technical particulars automatically recorded by our servers, being the internet protocol address, device type and browsing activity on the store.

We do not knowingly collect data from persons below the age of eighteen years. Certain pest-control preparations are unsuitable for handling by minors and orders are accepted on the basis that the purchaser is an adult.

3. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed strictly for the following defined purposes: to process and dispatch your order; to communicate order status, delivery updates and safe-use guidance relevant to the goods purchased; to attend to returns, cancellations and grievances; to prevent fraudulent transactions; and to comply with our statutory obligations.

Processing is undertaken on the basis of the consent you provide at the point of purchase and, where applicable, for the performance of the contract of sale and for compliance with law. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by written notice, subject to our retaining data we are required by law to preserve.

We do not sell or lease personal data. Disclosure is limited to logistics partners engaged to effect delivery, to the payment infrastructure that processes Unified Payments Interface transactions and to any authority entitled to the data under a valid legal process. Each recipient is bound to use the data solely for the purpose of disclosure.

6. Payment Data

We accept payment by Unified Payments Interface and by cash on delivery only. We do not collect, store or process card numbers or any similar instrument and no payment-card data resides on our systems.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained only for so long as is necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected or for such longer period as is mandated by taxation or consumer-protection law, after which it is securely erased.

8. Security Safeguards

We maintain reasonable technical and organisational security practices, including encrypted transmission and restricted internal access, proportionate to the sensitivity of the data held. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions prescribed by law, you are entitled to request access to your personal data, to seek correction or completion of inaccurate data, to request erasure, to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of incapacity and to lodge a grievance.
